45 years after his death in 1977 at the age of 42, Elvis and Priscilla’s love story was told the big screen for all to see. “It was a good life,” she told People of their romance in 1978. “It was different, but it was ours.” Austin Butler went on to win a Golden Globe for his work as Elvis. Priscilla Presley, the former wife of the King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley, and her granddaughter Riley Keough, who is also the daughter of the late singer-songwriter Lisa Marie Presley, have recently addressed rumors of a feud between them. The rumors started after the death of Lisa Marie Presley on January 12, 2023, at the age of 54.
Priscilla and Riley have both denied the rumors of a dispute and affirmed that their relationship is intact. In the first search result from People, Riley’s half-brother Navarone Garcia confirmed that there is no feud between Priscilla and Riley. He said in an interview, “There is no feud between them. It’s all good.” Navarone Garcia is Priscilla’s son from a previous relationship.
Priscilla herself spoke out about the rumors in an interview with HuffPost. She said, “I don’t know where that came from. Riley and I are very close. We’ve always been close, and we always will be.” She also acknowledged that it’s challenging to deal with tabloid rumors and that the family is grieving over the loss of Lisa Marie.
In another article from Us Weekly, Navarone Garibaldi, who is Priscilla’s son and Riley’s half-brother, denied rumors that the family was fighting over Lisa Marie’s trust. He said, “As far as the trust is concerned, it’s in the process of being sorted out. It’s not a big deal. It’s just something that has to be done. Everything is being handled properly.”
It is clear from these interviews that there is no feud between Priscilla and Riley. The family is grieving over the loss of Lisa Marie, and any disagreements they may have about her estate are being handled appropriately.
