A Rudy Giuliani clip Seth Meyers spots for his lawyers to use in court

Giuliani election
In a move that should have his lawyers rubbing their hands together with glee, Late Night host Seth Meyers recently unearthed a clip of Rudy Giuliani pretending to steal election ballots during a speech he made in Georgia in December 2020. The clip shows Giuliani describing an evil scheme of sorts, in which a villainous figure wears a disguise to steal an election ballot box.

Giuliani, the former mayor of New York City, was recently appointed as the lawyer of former President Donald Trump and has been at the center of much of the legal wrangling over the 2020 election since then. Giuliani’s tactics have come under fire from critics and even some Republican colleagues. However, this recent clip unearthed by Meyers could prove to be Giuliani’s silver bullet in court.

In the clip, Giuliani is seen pretending to be a disgruntled voter trying to steal an election ballot box. “I put on a disguise” he says in the video, “Some old clothes come from around the corner, a hat, and some glasses, and I go in there and I take the ballots out.”

The clip is significant because current legal disputes involving Giuliani revolve around the subjective nature of election fraud in Georgia. Indeed, Giuliani and his team of lawyers continue to allege that voter fraud occurred in the 2020 election, but have yet to solidify their claim with tangible evidence. This clip seems to provide a much-needed respite for Giuliani and his legal team, as it directly contradicts the idea that election fraud was imaginary or non-existent.

Furthermore, in the clip, Giuliani goes on to describe a scenario in which law enforcement joins in on the alleged scheme by looking the other way. “They know it’s me in the disguise” he proclaims, “But they don’t know what’s going on.” This can easily be used to undermine claims against Giuliani by his critics and critics alike.

All things considered, it is clear that Seth Meyers’ recent excavation of a clip featuring Rudy Giuliani could be very beneficial in the former mayor’s legal battles. With clear evidence to back up Giuliani’s alleged claims of election theft, his lawyers can use the clip as a way to discredit the opposition in court. It remains to be seen just how much the clip can help Giuliani’s case, but it is certainly a development that has his legal team feeling optimistic.
