In 2023, here are the TV shows we’re excited about

Nine Perfect Strangers -- Based on The New York Times bestselling book by author Liane Moriarty, “Nine Perfect Strangers” takes place at a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living. Watching over them during this 10-day retreat is the resort's director, Masha, a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies. However, these nine “perfect” strangers have no idea what is about to hit them. We live in an age of seemingly never-ending entertainment choices. We can watch movies, television shows, original streaming content, mini-series and so much more. With so many options, it is difficult to choose which ones to watch and it can be hard to keep up with all the new offerings. But for the those of us who are avid television fans, there is one thing that we can all agree on: the best thing about TV is the anticipation for what is coming next. What new shows will be premiering? What fan favorite shows will be returning with new episodes?

As we look ahead to 2023, there is lots to be excited about. Many networks and streaming services have a string of originals and returning shows on their lineup. That means 2023 should be a great year for television fans. Here are just some of the TV shows we’re looking forward to in 2023.

We start with HBO Max and one of the most anticipated shows of 2023: the revival of Gossip Girl. True fans of the original series know how important it is to keep the original cast and its spirit alive. Fans can’t wait to find out what has happened to these beloved characters and to see a new generation of elite teens terrorizing New York City. This series is set to be released in late 2023.

CW’s Superman and Lois is another show to look forward to. This show is a romantic drama that follows the life of Superman, Lois Lane and their teenage sons as they grapple with the everyday life of being a superhero family. This promises to be an action-packed and heartwarming series that fans of all ages will be able to enjoy.

Netflix is no stranger to original content and 2023 should be no different. We already know about rom-com Unpregnant which will be released in August of 2023. This movie follows two teenagers as they embark on a cross-country road trip. Along the way, the two encounter a number of obstacles that challenge their relationship and ultimately help them grow closer together.

Finally, Hulu is taking a page out of its hit series The Handmaid’s Tale with the upcoming drama Nine Perfect Strangers. This psychological thriller revolves around nine strangers who come together in a wellness retreat run by a mysterious guru. Each of the strangers is looking to change their lives and find the inner peace and acceptance they are longing for.

These are just some of the shows we’re looking forward to in 2023. Whether you’re a fan of action-packed dramas, heartwarming rom-coms, or edge-of-your-seat thrillers, 2023 promises to be great year for television fans.
